CHELMSFORD, MA – March 20, 2014 – Intronis, Inc., provider of world-class cloud backup solutions for the IT channel, today announced that Jasmine Lombardi, vice president of partner success, has been selected as one of the 20 recipients of Mass High Tech’s “2014 Women to Watch.” The 11th annual Women to Watch recognizes women in tech and life sciences who are driven and influential leaders and mentors in the community.
“I am honored to be recognized by Mass High Tech and to be included in such an impressive group of female leaders in the industry,” said Lombardi. “From my childhood growing up in a small village in Singapore to working in the tech industry in the U.S., I have learned that anything is possible if you set your goals and work hard to achieve them. With this recognition, I hope that we can inspire other young women to pursue and fulfill their dreams.”
One of nine siblings, Lombardi grew up in a small village on the outskirts of Singapore in a thatched home without any modern amenities or hot water. Needing to care for her siblings, she developed an intense work ethic, which launched her towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science from National University of Singapore in Singapore and a subsequent master’s degree in information science from Boston University. From there she has served a number of senior leadership positions at various technology companies in the U.S. over the last 25 years.
“As more technology and life sciences companies continue to put amazingly bright and powerful women in more prominent roles, the Women to Watch awards continues to shine a much deserved spotlight on these women and continues to acknowledge them for their leadership behind the scenes in the office and in their community. This year’s honorees come from a broad range of sectors including clean tech, academia, and biotech, showing the growth of women in leadership roles throughout many industries. Mass High Tech is proud to honor these women and looks forward to their continued success,” said Chris McIntosh, publisher, Mass High Tech/Boston Business Journal.
As Vice President of Partner Success at Intronis, Lombardi manages all partner-facing functions for the company. Under her leadership, the team is consistently surpassing their customer satisfaction goals.
“We are thrilled that Jasmine has been recognized for her leadership and accomplishment,” said Intronis CEO Rick Faulk. “She is a role model and an individual the world can learn from and be inspired by, especially women from foreign countries who are considering a career in the U.S.”
The 11th annual Women to Watch event recognizes women in tech and life sciences who are go-getters, hardworking, inspirational, and motivational to their peers. These up-and-comers are continuing to grow and will shape the future of their industries. Mass High Tech’s Women to Watch will be honored at its annual awards breakfast on May 8th at the Sheraton Boston.
